Ugly Spring

Spring has sprung! The air is warmer, the days longer, and we start getting excited about summer approaching.

One problem, every spring as the snow recedes, we see all the litter and garbage people throw on the sides of our roads, in the parking lots, and even on our front lawns. I cannot fathom what posseses someone to throw their Tim's cup out the window of the car, instead of throwing it out when they get home, or at the next drive thru window.

This litter make our country one big garbage can. If you have ever spoken to someone who has visited Canada from afar they allways note how clean Canada is. We should all try to keep it that way.

Let's all do our part and put our garbage where it belongs, in the garbage. Lets teach our kids to do the same, and when we see someone littering let them know how we feel.

And perhaps the next time you pull off the highway and are waiting at the light, you won't have to look at a pile of garbage.

Canada is beautiful! Let's all keep it that way!
