Listening to Orange Crush by REM this morning, what an awsome song. I can hardly make any sense of the lyrics, but you can tell by the song and arrangement that it is about war and it is best listened to real loud!

Orange Crush was also one of my favourite drinks as a kid. Grandma always had some in her fridge when we visited.

Not to mention the reference to the great John Elway teams.

Additionaly used to refer to the way Home Depot is taking over the hardware world!

Also a refernece to Agent Orange used in veitnam to kill the dense foilage that the enemy soldiers would hide under and was ultimately found to be very harmful.


I guess that is where REM got the idea for the song......
