My Happenings

Hockey season is underway and who cares about Sydney, we have O'Neill ! This is going to be a good one, he can play the game tough and score. Nice start guys. Still can't figure out why they didn't get rid of more dead weight but there is still time.

Still need a stud on defense though!

Have no idea who Tuukka Rask is but a goaltender is a great idea. A defenseman would have been better but we'll see.

You have been a total lame duck since you came to the Leafs. Your bloated salary can be spent better elsewhere!

Sometimes you don't realize how much you miss something until it is gone. The new system sounds great, it is a shame it took a lost season to get it done.

But Leafs, all is forgiven in my house!

Last night I was flying back from Boston and of course the flight was delayed for 2 hours, and they lost my bag. But I am still in a great mood!

As we were approaching Toronto I looked out my window and saw an incredible sight. All of over the city there were the flashing lights of fireworks going off. It was almost hypnotic. There were large displays in Niagara Falls, St Catherines, and then in North York amd Mississauga. In addition to that all over the city there were flashes of smaller backyard fireworks.

It was a once in a life time experience, that brought out the kid is me.

Happy Birthday Canada! It is good to be home!
