My Happenings

This past Saturday Marie and I went to Ruth's Chris steakhouse for our much delayed Valentines dinner.

I had a New York Strip, Marie had Surf and Turf, we started with a Ceasar Salad, had mushrooms and fries as sides, I had a beer, and marie a margerita, and we shared a sorbet with our coffee for desert.

The food is excellent, but if you don't like butter, then beware because if you don't say otherwise it will come in a soup of butter.

All of this for the price of a nice digital camera!

I don't think I'll be back until I win the Lotto.

Remembrance day has always been a wierd day for me.

I enjoy paying tribute to the fallen soldiers who paid the greatest sacrifice of all, and yet wish they never had to die.

I appreicate all who fought, and yet feel it was unfair that they paid such a high price.

I really don't believe in war, and yet am glad we have defeated the enemies we had.

I guess I should not just remember but learn, and maybe we won't have to fight again.

Boy can I ever notice the difference having Sundin back. I sometimes forget how this guy is. His power to hold onto the puck in the offensive zone is amazing and he seems to be pairing up well with O'Neill.

Perhaps they will be able to do better than most people think.
