My Happenings

Last night Marie and I watched this total chick flick called "The Notebook". However this movie is actually quite good. A good story with some reasonable acting and a great ending. The best part is it's portrayal of everlasting love, devotion, and freindship. So if you have a chance curl up with your wife/partner, a bowl of popcorn, and a box of kleenex and enjoy.

This session of the Amazing Race is great as always, but if Rob and Amber win this, I will not be happy. I hated them on Survivor, and now I have to watch them every week manipulate the rules, and get a guide every time. Can't they read a map? Or can they read at all? Go Meredith and Gretchen!

This week marked the 25th Aniversary of a True Canadian Hero! May we all find a way to contribute a fraction of what Terry Fox was able to do in such a short time. His legacy shall be eternal!

I really do not like Tiger very much. In fact I root against him every time he plays. However the shot he made on the par 3 16th was one for the ages. Let's hope he keeps making shots like that one, except next time, someone else can win. 

Opening Day 2005! For the first time in 10 years I am getting excited about the Blue Jay season. With Hockey down and lacking a sport to follow I have Blue Jay Fever again. In the 80's and early 90's I used to be a huge fan. Seeing many games at exhibition stadium, and then the Skydome I watched and cheered the Jays as they became contenders, and then champions. I guess the wounds from the strike and mismanagement of the Jays have finally been forced to heal. Lets hope the Jays have a wonderful season. Good to be back. GO JAYS GO!!!!!!
